The City of LaGrange Housing Authority is a municipal not-for-profit corporation, governed by a Board of Commissioners consisting of 6 members. They are appointed by the Mayor.

Unit assignment is based on family composition. LHA determines eligibility and rent based on:

Annual gross income for all members of the household;
Whether you qualify as elderly, a person with a disability, or as a family; and
U.S. citizenship or eligible immigration status.

The federal Fair Housing Act prohibits discrimination in housing because of race, color, national origin, religion, familial status, gender and disability.
